New gamified approach set to revolutionise SME IT support in Birmingham and beyond
Birmingham, UK: In a world-first, Birmingham-based IT services and support provider Kimbley IT is proud to announce the launch of their new gamification service designed to improve the use of IT for their clients.
Every month Kimbley IT’s customers will be asked to submit their best ideas for improving technology within their business. A team led by Kimbley IT will then consider each suggestion and will implement it shortly afterwards.
“The people using IT are usually the same people best placed to spot instances where IT could be fine-tuned to deliver greater efficiencies,” said Kimbley IT founder James Kimbley, “More importantly they can often suggest how IT could be improved. Why wouldn’t you ask for their feedback regularly?”
However changing business needs and technology developments means that there are always new challenges to be addressed. For this reason end users are actively encouraged to come up with new ideas every month. And to ensure that new ideas are generated every month, Kimbley IT awards the winning idea a high-value experience voucher every month.
“Collecting ideas once every few months is useful, but the gamification concept ensures that staff actively work to identify new fixes every month,” continued Kimbley, “Under the new gamification system, employees are actively encouraged to look for ways to make their businesses run better, helping cut costs and increase profit margins by using technology more intelligently.”
After a number of successful trials, Kimbley IT’s new gamification support service is being rolled out to all of their clients from 25th February 2014.
“We expect the new gamification service to be extremely popular with our clients,” said Kimbley, “We’re not just improving IT support, we’re revolutionising IT support.”
