What is an Employee?

At Kimbley IT we price our IT Support service on per user (employee) basis rather than a per device basis. This pricing structure works out best for you as you'll be using cloud services that users can easily access on all their devices, most users will have at least two devices, a laptop and a smartphone.

We class your team members as a "user/employee" if they have a work email address, it is, without doubt, the easiest way to identify somebody as working for your business and offering them IT support and assistance.

Likewise, with contractors or external partners if they get issued with a work email address, they will be supported. Sometimes you may have an external partner who does not need a business email address; in that case, they will still be supported if they are using services provided by your business or accessing your business data.
