How do I connect to Chromecast from Google Chrome

Recently Google integrated Google Cast (also know as Chromecast) directly into Google Chrome. Removing the need to install the Google Cast extension to stream content.

If you are using Chrome version 53 or above you can quickly cast the content of your browser window without the need for extensions.

To cast from Chrome to your Chromecast

  • Open the "Chrome Menu"
  • Select "Cast..."
  • Then select the device you want to cast your screen to.
