Download the NHS Track and Trace App

It has been a long time coming, but today the government has finally released the long waited NHS Track and Trace App.

The original app went through development hell when the government opted to use a centralised approach that anyone with any technological knowledge knew could not possibly work, due to the privacy and security restrictions built into Android and iOS.

The app that has now been released respects users privacy and abides by Google and Apple framework built into all our mobile phones. The new app uses Bluetooth to anonymously alert other devices with the track and trace app installed that they have been nearby. When someone gets infected, their device can warn other people that they have been close too, to watch out in case they develop COVID symptoms.

At Kimbley IT, we have all installed the app on our phones, and if you want to too, you can download the Android app here, and the Apple app here. For clients we can push the app out to your work devices, get in contact if you would like this to happen.
