The Founder's Log Podcast - August 2023

In August, we welcomed onboard a global PR agency based in London. They had been let down by their previous IT provider, who had not supported them adequately. Much of this was down to the IT provider not being qualified and accredited to manage and maintain Google Workspace, culminating in an avoidable nation-state cyber attack.

Now that they have partnered with Kimbley IT for IT assistance and support and are using Google Workspace by Kimbley IT, they have significantly better security and correct setup, monitored and maintained by a Google-accredited partner.

Kyle and many of the subscriber base we support with their IT went away on holiday for two weeks, so the month was generally quiet.

August Assistance and Support Statistics

Subscribers contacted us 109 times, a 17.4% decrease over the previous month. Ninty Four of those getting in touch requested assistance (they want to know how to do something better). Fifteen asked for support (something needs to be fixed).

Out of the subscribers sending a message for support, 12 received a response and returned to doing their work within five minutes. 3 received a reply and returned to their work within thirty minutes.

Of those who sent a message for assistance asking how to do something better, 75 received a response within five minutes, now being able to do something better than they could before. Fifteen received a reply and returned to work within thirty minutes. Three took over an hour as it was a more complex request with many knock-on effects that needed to be understood. One request took over a day to assist with as it required waiting for a marketing development agency to respond.

One hundred and six subscribers contacted us through our unique instant messaging service! The quickest way to get in contact. Three emailed.

The stats show that seven subscribers would not have gotten in contact if the companies they worked for had offered regular training through Learning Sessions by Kimbley IT.
