The Founder's Log Podcast - June 2023

During June, Kimbley IT had a relatively quiet period in terms of business. We received a consistent flow of new business inquiries and engaged in ongoing conversations with our existing clients about leveraging Google Bard for content creation and analysis. Several of them tried Bard and were pleasantly surprised by the positive results it produced in response to their requests.

We participated in the Comptia UK Community Meeting, which took place at the Hilton Hotel near Birmingham Airport. We hadn't attended since 2019, so it was a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues we hadn't seen in some time and establish new relationships within the IT support industry.

New Videos

During June, one new feature video and one short film got released on the Kimbley IT YouTube Channel:

New Blog Posts:

In June, two fresh blog posts were released. The first one emphasised the significance of backing up your Google Workspace data, which is often overlooked by companies that choose to manage Google Workspace internally. Additionally, a supplementary blog post was published to guide you through the process of setting up delegate access in Gmail, particularly for those who are unable to view the accompanying video.

June Assistance and Support Statistics

In June, we got contacted 94 times by subscribers. Seventy of those getting in touch requested assistance (they want to know how to do something better). Twenty-four asked for support (something needs to get fixed).

Out of the subscribers sending a message for support, seven received a response and returned to doing their work within five minutes. Fourteen received a reply and returned to their work within 30 minutes, and three took a bit longer but were resolved well within an hour.

Of those who sent a message for assistance asking how to do something better, 49 received a response and returned to doing their work within five minutes. Twenty took between 5 and 30 minutes, and one which required setting up an Android emulation took over an hour to complete.

Nighty subscribers contacted us through our unique instant messaging service! The quickest way to get in contact. Three emailed, and one scheduled a video call.

The stats show that two subscribers would not have gotten in contact if the companies they worked for had offered regular training through Learning Sessions by Kimbley IT.
