The Founders Log - December 2025 Review

Historically, December has been a fantastic month for attracting new leads and welcoming new clients, though we had noticed a bit of a dip over the last few years. However, looking at the reports for 2025, it feels like we are right back on track. We saw a healthy influx of leads, several of which have already converted into new customers.

One of the standouts was Future Tech Events. They are the team behind some of the UK’s most prestigious technology awards, including the National Cyber Awards and the new National AI Awards. They were already using Google Workspace but recognised the need for a specialist partner to ensure they were truly maximising the platform's AI features and maintaining top-tier cyber security—a must-have given the nature of the ceremonies they host.

We also welcomed The Good Skin Care company, a clinic based in central London. Their journey to us was a bit unusual; their previous IT provider transitioned them from Microsoft to Google Workspace, only to tell them immediately afterward that they couldn't actually support Google Workspace! It was a strange situation for them to be in, but we are happy to step in as the specialists they need. We also have a few other promising discussions still in the works as we head into the new year.

As for the day-to-day operations, December usually follows a predictable pattern where assistance and support requests drop off during the two-week Christmas break. We often see a "mad rush" just before the holidays, but interestingly, that peak never arrived this year. It seems our clients were exceptionally well-prepared for the break, allowing for a much smoother transition into the festive period.

Finally, on the marketing front, I’ve made the decision to conclude a campaign we’ve been running for nine months. While the overall campaign wasn't the success we hoped for, it has been a valuable learning experience. The insights gained will be instrumental in refining our approach for future versions.

Of the team members who requested support, 15 received a complete solution and were back to work within under five minutes. The rest needed a more detailed investigation and solution.

94 team members used our instant messaging service, which is the fastest way to reach us. The rest chose other, slower ways to get in touch.

The stats show that 12 team members wouldn’t have needed to contact us if their companies had provided regular training with Learning Sessions by Kimbley IT.
