  • Yes — Kimbley IT runs the entire Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migration for you, completely free. It's included in the £100 per team member, per month package, with no upfront fee and no setup charge.

    One weekend is all it takes. Migrations typically start on Friday evening and complete by Monday morning, so the whole company lands on Google Workspace in a single cutover. Google recently released a new migration tool around five times faster than the previous generation, making the window tighter still.

    Everyone moves at once. There's no phased migration where half the team is stuck on the legacy platform while the other half is on Workspace. Email, calendars, contacts, Drive files, and historical data all transfer in one go.

    A three-hour training session is included. Kimbley IT's trainers, Lauren and Jordan, run a free live training session so every team member knows how to use Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Meet and Gemini from day one. No "figure it out yourself" start.

    Switching is easier than most teams expect. More than 3 billion people worldwide already use Google products like Gmail, Drive and Calendar in their personal lives — almost certainly including most of your team. Going from Microsoft 365 to Workspace is usually far less disruptive than switching the other way, because Google's tools are already familiar.

    Your data is protected throughout. Before migration begins, Kimbley IT takes a point-in-time copy of everything from the legacy system. On the rare occasion an email or file doesn't transfer automatically (usually one or two items at most), it can be recovered manually from the backup. No data loss.

  • Short answer: yes. Kimbley IT offers a three-month evaluation period at the standard £100 per team member, per month. At the end of those three months, clients can end the agreement for any reason whatsoever — no questions, no penalty.

    Kimbley IT takes an honest view on trials, though. A true "free trial" doesn't really suit this kind of service, because moving a business onto Google Workspace involves migrating email, calendars, files and team members — and you wouldn't want to migrate everything back out again a week later. The setup work is significant on both sides, which is why the three-month evaluation exists instead.

    The evaluation gives the client time to decide whether Kimbley IT is the right long-term partner. Whether Google Workspace itself is the right fit is something sorted earlier — during the initial video calls, Kimbley IT only takes on clients who are genuinely ready for Workspace. Anyone who isn't a good match never gets as far as migration.

    After the three-month evaluation, the agreement rolls into a 12-month contract, then continues on a rolling 12-month basis. In practice, very few clients leave at the three-month mark. Once teams are using Kimbley IT day-to-day, they tend to stay for years.

    If you decide to go ahead, there's an agreement to sign and then — typically within one to two weeks — you're live on Google Workspace by Kimbley IT. The pace is genuinely up to you. We can move a small business across in a single weekend, or stagger the cutover over a few weeks if that suits your team better.

    Two things worth knowing before you book:

    • Roughly how big is your team? It helps us gauge the scope before we speak.

    • Roughly how much data do you have? The one thing that slows a migration down is a large data set behind a slow broadband connection. If that's you, we move the most recent data first so you're live quickly, then pull the older archives across in the background.

    One ask: please have the decision-maker on the call with you. If you come alone, think we're a great fit, and then have to resell all of that to someone else in your business, you've effectively become our salesperson — which isn't fair on you. It's much faster and much easier if everyone who needs to say yes is in the room together.

  • Yes — in fact, we love working with companies who are already on Google Workspace. You're past the "what is it?" stage and you know the platform; you're looking for a partner because it isn't working as hard for you as it should.

    The reasons people come to us are usually one of three:

    Their previous IT provider didn't really know Google Workspace, promised the world, and delivered very little.

    They set it up themselves and have since realised how much there is to manage — hundreds of admin settings, new features landing constantly, and nobody minding the shop.

    It works, but it's chaotic, and they want it handed to professionals so they can stop thinking about it.

    What we typically find when we take over an existing Workspace is the same pattern: security settings missed, admin console never properly organised, two-step verification not enforced, no backups, no DLP — and often clients paying for features inside their existing edition that they didn't know they had. It's rarely one big problem. It's dozens of small ones that add up to "chaotic."

    When you join Kimbley IT, the first thing we'll do is move you onto Google Workspace Business Plus if you aren't already. Business Plus is the only edition we manage, because over the years we've found it's the only tier that includes the features, security controls, and data protections that actually matter. Cheaper editions leave important security settings and data capabilities behind, and we're not willing to run a client's business on those gaps.
